Privacy Policy
Families trust us with personal information when they ask about care, and caregivers trust us when they apply. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
What we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us:
- Consultation requests (on this website, by phone, by email, or through a Facebook or Instagram form): your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, who the care is for, when you'd like care to start, and anything you choose to tell us about the situation.
- Caregiver applications: your name, contact details, the role you want, experience, availability, whether you drive, and the resume and cover letter you upload.
- Basic technical information that any web server records, such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit. We use it to keep the site secure and to stop spam.
Please don't send detailed medical information through our website or social media forms. If you become a client, we discuss care needs with you directly and keep those records separately.
How we use it
- To call or write back about your request and arrange a free consultation.
- To assess whether we are the right fit and prepare a care plan and cost estimate.
- To review caregiver applications and contact applicants about openings.
- To understand which of our advertisements bring in enquiries, using counts and the ad's name, not your personal details.
- To keep the website secure and meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it to send you advertising from other companies.
Facebook & Instagram forms
If you send us a request through a form on Facebook or Instagram, Meta Platforms collects the form on our behalf and passes it to us. Meta's own handling of that information is covered by Meta's Privacy Policy. We use what you submit only to respond to your request, as described on this page. Our forms never ask about health conditions or diagnoses.
Calls, texts & email
When you ask us to contact you, we may call, text or email you about your request. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to any text to stop texts, or tell us at any time that you'd prefer a different way to be contacted. We don't send marketing messages to people who haven't asked to hear from us.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and applications only as long as we need them to respond, to keep accurate business records, and to meet legal requirements. After that we delete them. You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see below).
We protect what we hold with access limited to the people who need it, and our website stores submissions in folders that cannot be reached from the web. No method of storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care.
Your choices
- Ask what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it.
- Ask us to delete your enquiry or application.
- Ask us to stop contacting you.
Contact us using the details below and we'll respond promptly. We may need to confirm who you are first.
Our website is meant for adults arranging care. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13.
